Industry Experience. Practical Training. Trusted Relationships.

At Trainsafe, we specialise in delivering nationally recognised training and assessment services across Australia, with a strong focus on the quarrying, mining and resources industries.

We offer a wide range of training, including mobile plant operations, Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments, high-risk work licensing, and qualifications including Certificate III, Certificate IV and Diploma level in Surface Extraction Operations and Management.

Our training goes beyond achieving competency. We focus on developing practical skills, improving workplace safety and building operator confidence through ongoing skills development and industry-focused training.

Trainsafe is led by Mal McDonald, who brings over 30 years of experience in mining and quarrying operations, training, safety and compliance. Mal is also a proud Ambassador for the Institute of Quarrying Australia (IQA), demonstrating his commitment to supporting the quarry industry and its workforce.

In addition to training, we provide workplace safety services, including safety audits, risk management, system development and compliance support.

A Personalised Approach

We believe in building genuine, long-term relationships with our clients. Wherever possible, we provide a dedicated trainer who gets to know your people, equipment and workplace procedures, ensuring training is practical, relevant and tailored to your business.

We deliver training directly in the workplace, allowing participants to develop their skills using familiar equipment in real working environments.

Our commitment to our clients doesn’t end when training is complete. We pride ourselves on our traditional handshake approach, offering ongoing support and advice on training, competency and regulatory requirements whenever needed.

At Trainsafe, we’re more than just a training provider — we’re a trusted industry partner committed to developing skills, improving safety and supporting your business.
