Course Description
This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to safely work at heights. Leaners will develop the skills to plan safe work at heights, apply risk controls, develop the skills to identify work requirements and instructions, access and install equipment, perform work at heights, clean-up work area. Successful completion of the course provides the necessary competency to safely work at heights.

Mode of Delivery
Delivery of this course will be trainer led and delivered face-to-face in a classroom setting combined with skills practice and assessment at client’s premises.

Assessment
The assessment requires the learner to complete a written knowledge assessment and demonstrate their applied knowledge and skills during a practical assessment when working safely at height.

National recognition
On successfully completing the training and assessment you will be issued a Statement of Attainment issuing you the unit of competency: RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights.

Dress and Equipment
Learners should attend the course in comfortable appropriate work clothing with steel capped boots. The course will be delivered on the site of student’s workplace.

Entry Requirements
Trainsafe require learners to present photo Identification prior to course commencement, be dressed in their normal work clothing wearing steel capped boots and be alert and physically capable of undertaking operations.
